I have been running windows xp home on my new laptop for the 6 months I
have
owned it. It is oem. About 3 months ago I lost my calculator, then i lost
my
volume control. Now when I try to reload through add/remove windows
components it gives me error message "copy error' ' setup cannot copy the
file rhody.bm_. " It shows the right directory ( c:\i386 ) but yet comes
up
empty. It continues to give this same message as it goes through about
12-15
file names including calculator and charmap. End result nothing changed. I
do
not have the disk only the hard drive files. Also I have no volume
control,
or xp games for the same reason. i can see the files in my hard drive
directory what do I need to do to get them to open? Thank you for your
help.
