If i were to do a repair install on one of my computers in the office
network, would i lose all of their network settings and have to add
the computer to the domain again or would all these settings be kept?
Cheers
A Repair Install of Windows XP, as per
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.html will preserve your
user data files, installed applications, and configuration settings.
Windows Updates that are not incorporated into the CD used for the
Repair Install will all have to be reinstalled. (In other words if
your install CD is a Service Pack 2 version then all of the updates
since SP2 was released will have to be reinstalled after the repair
install.)
Good luck
