This is standalone machine or an domain member ?

For first step: If standalone, check if it's not an restricted user. If is,
to change settings try add it to local administrators group.

If this is a domain member contact with administrator ;-)

Hi,
I have a lap top computer with two users. The first user has the regional
settings set to New Zealand and is fine with date display etc.
The second user has a problem in that when I try to set the regional
settings to New Zealand it keeps defaulting back to US. I like the US but
the
date displays differently to NZ and makes my user very confused.
I have tried making sure that all areas in regional settings are showing
NZ
settings.
Interestingly, I am unable to change the short date display in the
customise
options for the same user.
Can anyone help?
