XP Home does not have Group Policy (gpedit.msc), so you cannot use
gpedit.msc to redirect folders. That does not mean that folders cannot be
redirected in XP Home.

Though the Professional version of XP can perform a redirect to a moved
file/directory (such as "My Documents"), I am not clear if this feature is
possible in the "Home Edition" version. To be honest, I haven't tried (I
was in the middle of loading software on the computer when I found out
about the "redirect" capability), though I have reviewed (on the
Microsoft website) what is necessary. The instructions look fairly
straight forward, but I've been told by an IT person that Home Edition
lacks this feature. I'm willing to spend a large chuck of time trying to
find and implement the feature, but I want to make sure that it even
exists before I spend the time and possibly becoming frustrated in the
process.
