Try typing winnt instead of setup.exe. Winnt.exe is the 16-Bit setup
file.

built a new pc, and i'm trying to install windows full version xp on a new
formated harddrive and everytime i type in DOS setup.exe on the disk
drive it says it cannot install in DOS? where am i going wrong here?
