Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Once you're back in Safe Mode, reinstall your graphics card drivers which
you can get from the manufacturer's website.

In control panel>settings>display i had an option for my display driver
that
said something like display windows in monitor or something roughly
similar
(i cant check this cause i cant re-access it to see). when i clicked it my
screen went blank. i rebooted xp then could'nt get further than the xp
booting up screen. xp thankfuly boots in safe mode fine but it doesn't let
me
access this option to correct it. any ideas how i can fix this will be
warmly
welcomed?
