In my post I mentioned that I have the BIOS set up correctly and that I have
a RAID0 volume set up. SATA mode is set to RAID, Enhanced Mode, with SATA
set to SATA II mode.
I switched things around a bit as follows:
1. I moved the hard disks to the Silicon Image SATA Controller
2. I moved the DVD burner to the Intel SATA controller
3. I set the Intel SATA controller to non-RAID
4. I set the Silicon Image SATA controller to RAID
5. I re-configured the disk array to RAID 0 using the Silicon Image BIOS
6. I downloaded the Silicon Image SATA RAID driver
7. I restarted the XP setup, hit F6, inserted the floppy with the Silicon
Image driver, the setup resumed fine and everything is running fine now. The
board has an Intel 955x chipset, so I'm suspecting a bad Intel RAID driver.
