I just encountered the same problem with a new notebook. Reboot the machine
and press F8 as it's starting to start in "SAFE" mode. Once you are in safe
mode you can login as the administrator, go to control panel, select
"Users", then you can delete the password of the user name you created.
Shutdown and restart normally.
