Thank you for the information. I was able to resolve this issue. I can only
hope that Microsoft will come up with a better solution for end users needing
to reinstall. A companies anti piracy solution should never prevent a
legitimate user from reinstalling their product.

Even if that solution is for the end user to have to call and list their
product key and machine serial number, the CD's should be a little bit more
interchangeable. I wonder how many people have their Dell pc with XP home in
a useless state because they have lost/damaged their CD, and cant use their
neighbors HP pc XP home CD. And with manufacturers making the CD's an extra
cost option, this problem will only get worse.
