RE: PC won't load XP CD

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Thanks Andrew, that worked a treat. However, there has been a new problem.

I was waiting for xp setup to partition my HD and my screen turned off
leaving me with no way to fix it (I tried another monitor as well). I was
forced to turn my computer off not knowing whether or not it had finished
partitioning.

Anyway, I started over today and my screen didn't come on. I restarted and
then it came on. When I went to install windows it told me that I had know HD
installed. I tried this a few times as well as playing is BIOS with the
settings without success.

Also, my screen works only every second time I boot my computer but it does
not say no signal. When I unplug the screen from the PC it comes up saying no
signal.

So once again I am stuck, clueless and once again your help would be
fantastic.

Thanks,

Teggs
