Neil,

Where are your NIC's drivers? In drivers\nic? Also, please tell me the
specific model of NIC the problematic machine has, and then also list the
contents of that directory (that the NIC drivers are contained in). There
should at least be a *.SYS and *.INF file in that directory. Since it's only
the IBMs that have this problem (and the other NICs in other PCs work), focus
on getting the latest drivers that you know work on the IBM - test them on a
Thinkpad that's already set up, identify the right SYS and INF files, and
then put them into the NIC directory.

I still need the directory details - what does your directory structure look
like?
