Single-click folder name to rename it

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

now I reinstalled WindowsXP and do not remember how to set the mouse to
single-click on a folder name to open it to edit it.

I have the mouse set for single-click but that only highlights the folder
name. I still have to right-click and select rename. Before, I some how had
it set to skip the right-click steps.
