 Try opening a new account,run new on restart of computer,if all is ok and
 what you should have,then the user account is corrupt,delete account.
 You can/could also,install xp cd,exit the info page,go to run,type:cmd
 In cmd type:Sfc /Scannow
 The windows file chk and repair will/should fix the problem(s).
