I recently purchased a desktop computer that came with an XP Home OEM disk.
I installed my copy of XP Pro and activated it - all works fine.
I rebuilt my old computer (which was running Win 2K Pro) - basiclly put all
the components (and a new CD R/W) in a new case - for my son. I did a clean
install of the XP Home (OEM disk) and attempted to activate it. When I
clicked on the activation icon it said it was already activated. Does this
mean it's OK or that in 30 days it will die? If it will die, how do I get
back my rights to use it on a single computer?
Thanks for the help,
Michael
