How to uninstall Windows 98?

I have Windows XP Home Edition installed. I uninstalled
Windows 98 using Add/Remove. Now I see I still have a
Windows 98 Service Pack to remove. When I try to use
Add/Remove, it tells me that it will remove the Service
Pack and reinstall Windows 98! I said No. How do I
safely remove this Windows 98 Service Pack without
messing up my PC or Windows XP?
