Basically, what Carey is trying to say, is you have a better chance of
finding a solution in either an Office or Visual Studio newsgroup, as both
of those applications (Office 97/VS 6.0) use an old Windows installer that
is now incompatible with WinXP with the upgrade of SP2. If the individuals
browsing those groups have seen it, they'll have an answer and maybe even a
solution, as personally, I've not seen this error here mentioned in any of
the XP newsgroups or personally experienced the problem, as I too run XP SP2
with VS 6.0 - although I do use .NET along with Office 2k3, which most
likely updated the installer to a more current, compatible version.
