Hi,
I had a similar problem on my Gateway laptop after installing SP2.
I would get BSOD with BAD_POOL_HEADER and a stop 0x00000019.
The problem was a service called Spectrum24 Event Monitor
(S24EvMon.exe) from Intel. When this service was disabled I was able
to run normally. I suspect this is part of the Intel ProSet drivers
for an Intel network card (I have a PRO/100 VE and 2100 wireless)
Of course, I was able to boot into safe mode to figure that out. So
far no apparent I'll effects from not running it but I'm using Windows
wireless drivers.
