What you will need to do is have a disk with the drivers for the SATA
controller on them. When launching the Windows XP Setup, pay attention
to the bottom of the screen and when it says "Press F6 to install 3rd
party RAID drivers" you will need to do this. XP will work with SATA
but you need to provide drivers during setup to initialize the
controller in XP. XP does not have native SATA drivers.
