Cannot setup XP Pro to use VIA RAID 1…

I have built a new computer using Asus K8V SE Deluxe motherboard and an AMD 64 3200+ CPU. Two Maxtor SATA hard drives were installed to run VIA RAID 1.
When I get to the point in installing XP and it asks to push F6 for the VIA drivers on a floppy I get the message “File txtsetup.oem could not be found.”
I installed the VIA drivers again on another floppy and again after pushing F6 and it starts to copy the VIA drivers it stops and this time it said “File txtsetup.oem caused an unexpected error (512) at line 1742 in d:xpsp1/base/boot/setup/oemdisk.c.”
What is this? Is there a way to get around using a floppy? Is the problem with the VIA drivers or is it a problem with XP Pro?
