Drat. Your unique quoting cause my newsreader to assume that the quoted
material is part of your signature (using Thunderbird at the moment). So

The OP said this was XP Home, so that approach won't work as the OP most
likely already knows from experience. I know no way around this.
lusrmgr.msc is missing from XP Home Edition, likely because you have
problems if you set account types to anything other than Administrator
or User (limited).

You use the User Accounts control panel or perhaps "net user" command
will work. (net user <username> <password>) or you can run "control
userpasswords2" to use the old win2K user accounts control panel, but
beware of changing user account types.
