Reformat

My sister really screwed up my PC, so I decided the best way to knock out everything she downloaded (such as spyWare and AdWare) was to reformat. Now I've done this numerous times on many PC's, and have never run into the problem I am facing now.

I go to do a fresh install, and when it comes to the screen where I am supposed to delete my current partition and create a new one, the "box" instead of showing my partiotns, says "unknown disc space. Setup Cannot access this disk"

Now I am completely stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated.
