The computer is a Sony VAIO, so there was no actual XP CD
included. All they have are their recovery CDs that
restore the hard drive to its original configuration.
Besides, they were lost in a move.
I believe the Kernel32.dll file has been corrupted and I
need to copy a new one over the old one. I can't do this
unless I find some way to boot up with the ability to
read an NTFS partition.
