I have my grandkids computer. I would not boot up.
Tried to reinstall from their disk. It was cracked.
I have a copy of xp Home on laptop I will give up for them.
I did a clean install put the numbers in to make it legal.
It goes until it need to reboot and gets stuck.
I had hooked the hard drive up to my computer and ran a virus scan. It found
a worm or Trojan and delete it.

So I am back in the same predicament it was before I started.

I deleted all partitions during the install.

Any Ideas on what is wrong I read thing about mbr could that be the problem?
Thanks for the help
Mark
