I use Windows XP and have a Dazzle Flash Card Reader that I use. Whenever I
insert a flashcarda window pops up and XP asks me what I want to do what I
want to do with the pictures. I am offered several choices. I usually take
the choice that says something like "Save to a file" or words to that
effect.

Yesterday I plugged my Dazzle reader into my friend's USB port and sought to
show her how simple it was to transfers images (pictures) from a flash card
to her hard drive. She also uses Windows XP. But when I inserted the flash
card the usual "What would you like to do with these pictures" window never
popped up.

Does anyone know why. Does this feature have to be enabled somewhere?

Thanks.
John
