Hi,
I'm getting the 0x7b stop error on first boot of a new
install. Knowledgebase only refers to this ish with
moving to a new computer/motherboard, which is where I
first saw this problem. I have done OS repairs, I have
changed out every component in the box, including pwr
sup. I haven't been able to build a new box for 2
weeks 'cause I can't get past this. I think xp is
loading the wrong drivers for ide and I can't get to a
point where I can load the drivers that came with the
mb. I'm using pcchips with i845 chipset and WD400 hdd.
I've also used seagate 40gb hdd with no joy. Help
please! Thanx
