windows xp installer shield err

I was tring out some new programes for scaning for
keyloggers one of them must of disabled the last part of
install log for install uninstall. causing a err a
(0x734301d5) basicaly its as if new programs are not
intstalled but they are they just can't uninsall. I was
looking for a new install sheild for xp pro but there is
only on 98 nt the only way seams to have to reinstall
windows a update. Any one have any idea may if its in sp1
