XP cannot support more than one single scanner. You appear to have installed TWO.... one standalone and one with the All in One printer.

Uninstall one of them.

At this time, I successfully installed IE7 and posted a follow-up message
there. I then decided to try to uninstall and reinstall my 1670 Perfection
Scanner and NX300 All-in-one, both Epson. The scanner software still does
not recognize the printer. Both have the original drivers installed that
came with the units. Does anyone know of a solution?
