Re: XP 2002 Fax Console Freezes in "Refreshing" Mode

The Fax console can be uninstalled/re-installed from 'Control
Panel|Add/Remove|Windows Components'. How does your modem respond to
'Control Panel|Phone and Modem Options|Modems|Properties|Diagnostics|Query
Modem'? Has the Fax console worked in the past?

As soon as I open the fax console, it goes into indefinite "Refreshing"
Mode.
Never gets to "Ready" anymore. How do I fix this? Is there a way to
uninstall/reinstall the Fax Console?
