microsoft fax printer problems

I also am having the same problem...It started after I downloaded
AVG, It seems after every update when you need to restart, the fax
looses its ability to open, you must reload the ms fax drivers.
However the worst part, it cannot find them! I looked into the i386
files where the fax utilities are stored, and they are not there. I
have since copied them to a new location, so now when this happens I
have to direct the search to the new location. After they are loaded,
they reappear in the i386 folder, but will disappear with the next AVG
update. This is very frustrating as I uses the fax to send and
receive many times a day, and this just started. Is this an issue
with the anti virus, I did remove any spyware as I have another
program doing that
.
