You may also be able to use the context menu's "Open with..." command to do the trick.

yes, i did find the files; as directed in the post
(http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/FAQFAX.htm#_Toc88835132 ) to which i was
referred, i need to extract them because they did not have the full dll
extension. so it is the win32 cabinet self extractor that i am looking
for. in order to extract the files that I need to install the windows fax.
the post said that the extractor application would be in the system folder
but it was not.
If i am misunderstanding the directions in the post , please let me know.
Are you saying that the files I listed in my previous post (the files which I
did find in the system folder) are in some way part of what I need to do?

The names of the compressed files are already listed. Did you find them? It
doesn't sound as if you did.
