Cari Hi,
I just added a fresh install of vista Ultimate. I just bought a cannon
pixma
mp530 with the latest Vista Drivers. The driver will not even install for
the
first time. When I run the driver CD, It tells me right away that the "It
cannot instal this software because the print spooler will not run". Then
tells me to restart the computer or the spooler. The spooler is set to
auto,
But when I hit start in services, It comes back with an error 1067, It
tell
the prccess has terminated unexpectedly. Could there be something wrong
with
my Vista Cd? Or can I remove the spooler somehow and replace it? I am at
my
wits end here.

Anyone find a definitive answer to this one yet? I'm still having
the
same
problem...on two workstations now.
Thanx.

I cannot print. I cannot add a printer. The Print Spooler is set
to
start
automatically but does not stay started. If I restart the Spooler
Service,
it only remains running until I try to add a printer, then the Add
printer
wizard won't run, reports error "the operation could not be
completed,"
and
the Spooler Service is stopped. I have tried system restore, I
have
edited
the registry and deleted the Version-x subkeys and extra monitors,
I
have
tried logging in on a new/different user account...nothing worked.
Any
clues?
