Your research is not correct. That perception exists simply because users do
not realize they must click on the arrow button to see other pages.
Once Office 2003 is installed, it replaces Windows Picture viewer with MODI.
Users do not get confused with MODI, because it shows a thumbnail of all
pages in the left hand pane.

This is a single document containing multiple pages. After some research I
have found that the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer will only show the
first
page of a multipage TIF. I have since installed "IrfanView" and it works
great.

Windows Picture and Fax viewer works just fine. Are you clicking the
arrow
button to view the subsequent pages?

I create faxes of multiple scanned documents by pasting them as separate
pages in a word processing document. I recently had to reinstall my
system
and reconfigure the FAX program. I use the free one that comes with XP.
I
set
the default for TIF documents to the windows picture and fax viewer.
When
I
create a 4 page FAX the FAX preview only shows the first page. When the
document is sent it shows 4 pages sent. When I go to the FAX console
and
look
at the sent documents it shows 4 pages but when I click on the document
it
only displays the first page. It this normal? Is there a way to see all
sent
pages?
I thought I was seeing multiple pages in the past but it may have been
using
a viewer from Microsoft Office that I no longer have.
