Epson RX500

Hi,
I have two printers hooked up to my computer, Epson RX500 & HP 4L. The
problem is every time I turn on the RX500 it becomes the default printer. I
have set the HP 4L as my default printer but it won't stay as the default
printer. Only if I keep the power off to the Epson will the HP stay as
programmed. Any ideas on why the Epson would create itself as default?
