Do you get an error message as to why it is stopping?
(It may be in Control Panel, Admin Tools. Event Viewer)
The most usual reason for the print spooler stopping is corrupted drivers.
Uninstall and reinstall the printer:

I can not install my printer as it says the print spooler service is not
running. I have tried going in Start>Run>type NET START SPOOLER and press
OK.
it says ok but will not stay running
.
