If taking out the cartridge and reinserting it does not help, I'd contact
HP, you may have a bad cartridge.

I have an HP Officejet 7210 All-In-One machine. The black ink ran out so I
replaced it. Now I keep getting a message that says, "Insert black
cartridge
into right stall". I do that but get the same message. Yes, I did take
the
protective tape off of the contact points. I turned the printer off,
unpluged it for a few minutes, pluged it back in and got the same message.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

I think the last time I needed a good set of prints was nearly five years ago though, when I wanted to send photos of my brother's wedding to my aunt. ...
