I doubt it since it seem a common issue, thus the KB. Check and see if one
of the inbox (on the XP CD) drivers work to get output. Try the HP Deskjet
550c. Maybe someone else in this group knows if one of the inbox drivers
is compatible.

Thanks for your reply, Alan. I downloaded the latest HP driver for the
recently bought Deskjet 3940, but it wouldn't install, because it is
already installed. The strange thing is, that only in the MS-Spread***
do I get the memory error message and that I am unable to print in
landscape.
Is it possible that a MS-Update is the cause for the spread*** problem?

WinXP & ServicePack 2

MS-Works w. Word 6.0 which includes spread*** no longer prints
spread***-files in landscape.
Error Message! Out-of-Memory, close open files or applications.
There is nothing else open.
I am able to print *.doc files in landscape.
Can anybody help me on this?
