Not sure I understand. Both address books take the same number of steps and
the same amount of time here.
Assuming you actually mean Windows XP Fax, it will use the default address
book you specify for your operating system. You can set it back to using the
WAB if you prefer.

A group at my company had been using MS fax very successfully so send faxes
to a single address. They go through hundreds of these a day. It was
working just fine choosing it out of the address book - two mouse clicks
and
maybe 5 seconds. Then we installed Outlook. Now it is 4 clicks and maybe
20
seconds. Needless to say they are less than thrilled with our "upgrade".
Is there a way to have MS fax use its own address book and not be forced
to
use Outlook's addressbook?
