Problem with dual HP printewrs

I have installed two HP All-in-One printer/scanners on my computer. The
OfficeJet #5510 and the PhotoSmart #3210. Each morning when starting my
computer, it does not recognize the #3210. My error messages are "an error
occurred communicating with the scanning device" and "the computer is unable
to establish 2 way communication with the device". When checking Device
Manager, the #3210 is no longer listed as an available printer. Could there
be some sort of "conflict" between the 2 printers? Has anyone else had this
problem and if so, how was it resolved. The technical people at HP don't
seem to have a clue as to what to do.
