This appears to be an issue with the printer being on a network and the
print job having to negotiate its way though the firewall. Is it on a
network... if so, is it attached to another PC or a print server?

Cari,
I am one of those users that began having trouble with the All-in-one
software about 2 months ago. What I observed is that if you are a
computer
administrator, printing works fine. If you don't have full administrative
rights on the computer, the job gets stuck in the queue.
Reading through the many posts about this issue, I tried to resolve it
with
all the fixes, spending about a weeks worth of time. Finally, began from
scratch reinstalling the operating system, minimum of thinkpad drivers,
SP2,
no firewall, no applications and the print driver only for an HP OfficeJet
7310 on the LAN. It's a fairly new printer purchased at the end of
November,
2005.
With this clean installation, the jobs get stuck in the queue. I believe
it's a faulty driver caused by Service Pack 2. If you would me to send
you
the Event Viewer logs that I saved along the way, let me know. Also, if
you
can't help, please let me know who to contact.

For some reason, other users on my computer cannot access the printer
{HP
psc2175v all-in-one}. I have the printer setting marked as 'share this
printer', but nothing. Now, this is not a LAN issue......I am not
networked
with any other outside computer. This is pertaining to other user
accounts
on
my machine. I'm not sure what more to do to enable the sharing
feature.
Help?
