My problem went away, but how?

I use a prepaid card for sending faxes long distance. I use the dialing
rules. It works fine now with the connect tones starting after the
completion of the long distance phone number. I was having problems where
the connect tones would start at the completion of the prepaid card number
and would continue through the prompts for pin, etc. This would cause
errors. I don't know what happened to cure the problem. Maybe I should just
be glad it went away. Has anyone seen this type of problem?
