This is a USB printer. I have tried using system restore several times
and that was of no help. I?ve cleared the sprint spooler, deleted all
references to the printer in all areas including the registry. I?ve
ran Norton System Works and PC Doctor and everything comes back clean.
Except in PC Doctors printer test, I get the same message when I try
to print. I just wish I knew what the error, "System Error" really
meant!
Tomorrow I may buy another printer (an Epson?) and see what happens.
If it p;rints, I?ll keep it! If I get the same message, I guess I will
have no choice but to re-install Windows XP and start fresh.
