Sorry, I should have given more info. The XP workstation
involved is XP Pro on a network with both a W2K server (no
domain, just a workgroup). The printer's port is
currently set to a print Queue on the Netware server. An
existing local printer does not have the buttons grayed
out and I can add a new printer and point it to a shared
printer on the W2K server as a work around. I just don't
understand why I can't just change ports on an already
defined shared printer.
