Still waiting for information about the result. If unsuccessful, and the
hot fix unhelpful, the next step would be:
Boot Windows in safe mode. Remove SP2. Reboot in Safe mode, remove any
and all printer drivers. Remove any lingering registry entries for the
printers. Boot in regular mode. Apply SP2. Reinstall the latest printer
drivers for all printers.
Test.
