If you have 14 hotfixes listed in Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, you
almost certainly do not have Service Pack 2 installed.
The hotfixes have SP2 in their name because the problems those hotfixes
solve are also fixed in Service Pack 2.
When SP2 is actually installed, those hotfixes will not show up in Add or
Remove programs any more.
Another way to tell is:
click Start
right click My Computer
select Properties
If Service Pack 2 is actually installed, it will say so under "System:".
Also, you can not uninstall SP2 by using System Restore.
See if the info at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=121074 helps.
