Thanks Jim
Well I thought I knew what I was doing when copying pics to a CD. Since they
went corrupt; I'm nervouse to copy any. I want to back up my photos to a CD.
I have DLA enabled it came with Sonic. Am I suppose to format ? I'm getting
confused. Or should I just copy to CD as I always did? I won't use the XP
feature; as someone pointed out here on another copy question that XP might
have been what corrupted the pics.
Thanks

I have Sonic; should I have DLA enabled?DLA means Drive Letter Access. It allows you to reference CD/DVD drives by
When I run a crash test analysis I get the message:
tfsnifs.sys 1.04.08a
TFS Technology
'may require driver application or update'
I already (recently) updated sonic via instrutions from my Dell support
centre tool yet I still get this message.
My concern is that about a year ago I saved a bunch of photos to a cd and
they all went corrupt; both on my cd and my hard drive. So before I go
saving
any more pics I want to make sure I'm doing this right.
I should add; that I have saved pics prior to the ones going corrupt
without
any issues.
DLA enabled ?? Could this be the problem? Don't know much about it.
(Using Windows XP home edition).
Thanks!

drive letter.
It is most unlikely that DLA caused your problem.
Doesn't Sonic install DLA?
