John, I did as you said and downloaded the Digital Image Starter
Edition 2006. Then I opened it with a picture and in the Help Section
I asked "How to add
a Frame". It answered by stating that I go to "Effects" and point to
"Edges" and click on "Frames and Mats". The problem is that there is
no Frames and Mats option.
The only options shown are, "Highlighted... and Soft...
I don't understand. PLEASE HELP. Thank You, John

Sorry, I guess I assumed you knew
how to work with layers.

You are using a trial version that has
limited options because it does not
include the clipart collection.

So...you'll need to find an acceptable
frame...first I would suggest the Microsoft
ClipArt site:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipart/default.aspx?ofcresset=1

(do a search for Frame and if you find
something you like...Copy/Paste it to your
desktop. (the bad news is that many of the
frames do not have a transparent center...
so they will need some work...or just find
one that does)

Open the Frame in Digital Image Starter edition.

Now open the image you are working on.

Drag the frame from the stack onto the image.

Now, drag the handles on the selected clipart
so the edges of the clipart align with the edges
of the image.

Now add your text and save or print the project.
