I 'spose so.
I guess it just never occurred to me that two separate cameras would produce
photos with the same name/numbering system.
I'm going to play with Mrs. Dibben's new camera and see if I can get it produce
same naming/numbering system as mine.
Although they are two different brands/makes of camera so may not get that.

When Windows replaces/overwrites files it is only when the filename
is the same as an existing filename..
Did the new photos from camera2 have the same filenames as those from
camera1 but were not the same photos?

Just a thought based on the original message...
If you had two cameras that were set to begin
at image #1 each session...it's conceivable
that both cameras could create files with the
same numbers.
When the word *replace* is used it means
proceeding will overwrite the current files.
