I would advise the OP to use TIFF because that is an industry wide===========================
standard. BMP however is a Microsoft only standard. Otherwise, there
is no real difference between the displayed images that I can see.

Good suggestion and easy to convert.
Actually, unless the files will be edited
and resaved multiple times...JPEG would
be adequate...and the file size is much
more manageable.
