Sorry, but there is no such thing as using XP to copy to DVD.
The command "Copy photos to CD" is for copying to CD, not DVD.
If you want to back up your photos and obviously you MUST do so, I suggest
you get out of copying to CD or DVD and simply get a USB2 external drive.
Price for external drive has been coming down. You can get a 120GB external
drive now for about $125.00. Copying your photos to an external drive is a
snap and you can use the external drive to backup your computer. If you can
afford it go for it and forget CD and DVD copying.

Hi I'm after a little advice about why my windows 7 wont let me use the
option 'copy photos to cd' when in my pictures..... When I first got my
laptop I used to do it all the time, (copy them to a dvd using the 'copy
to
cd' option) now it pops up 'Windows encountered a problem when trying to
copy
this folder' and I get the option to retry, skip or cancel.....
On my dell laptop it came with media direct which gives me the option to
make dvds with photos and videos on it which works fine, but that takes
forever to load them onto the disc..... and all I want to be doing after I
take about 1gb of pictures is to save it to a dvd disc as a back up.....
Any help with this I would very greatly appreciate!
Thanks you....
