John Inzer had this to say:
Windows XP does not include a red eye tool.
Maybe your OEM package included some image
editing software...check your documentation.
I'm by no means affiliated (else I'd never post it) with XnView but
that has a decent correction mode and a bunch of other things and,
well, it seems you're VERY heavily into images far beyond my level of
capacity I thought I'd invite you to poke at it. I really wish the
free version was open source (GIMP's my "love affair that will never
be) just so more folks might look at it the fact that there's a nice
free version available and always has been is something nice to add.
I found it by hating IfranView. I had XnView first (funny how it used
to take up a tiny space on a single floppy) and wanted something more
integrated or installable - it wasn't then - and nothing did the
trick and so I kept going back to it, finally built an installer for
it on my own for all my systems, and I probably still have a few of
the old tiny versions around. :)
I figured I'd take a moment to share.
I agree, XnView is a useful program.
